Welcome to Tsenà by Tamalà. By browsing our website, placing an order, or purchasing from us, you agree to the terms below. Please read them carefully before completing your purchase.

1. About Tsenà

Tsenà by Tamalà is a curated shop offering unique handcrafted and small-batch pieces, primarily made in Madagascar and curated for everyday life, markets, pop-ups, and online sales.

Because many of our pieces are handmade, vintage-inspired, upcycled, deadstock-based, or sourced in limited quantities, small variations may exist from one item to another. These variations are part of the nature and beauty of handcrafted work.

2. Product Availability

Most Tsenà pieces are available in limited quantities. Some items may be one-of-a-kind or available only during pop-ups.

We do our best to keep our website updated, but availability is not guaranteed until your order is confirmed. If an item becomes unavailable after your order is placed, we will contact you and offer either a replacement, store credit, or refund.

3. Product Descriptions

We make every effort to describe and photograph our products as accurately as possible. However, colours may appear slightly different depending on your screen settings, lighting, and device.

Measurements are approximate. For handmade products, slight differences in size, shape, texture, weave, colour, or finish are normal and are not considered defects.

4. Prices

All prices are listed in Canadian dollars unless otherwise stated.

Prices may change at any time without notice. The price charged will be the price displayed at the time your order is placed.

Applicable taxes and shipping fees will be shown at checkout before you complete your purchase.

5. Orders

Once you place an order, you will receive an order confirmation by email. This confirmation means we have received your order, but it does not guarantee availability if an inventory issue occurs.

We reserve the right to cancel or refuse an order if there is an error in pricing, product availability, payment processing, shipping information, or suspected misuse of the website.

6. Payment

Payment must be made in full at the time of purchase.

Accepted payment methods will be displayed at checkout. Orders will not be processed until payment has been successfully received.

7. Shipping

We currently ship to: Canada, United States, France, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Luxembourg, Belgium, Switzerland, Italy, United Kingdom, Netherlands.

Shipping fees and estimated delivery times are shown at checkout. Delivery times are estimates only and may vary due to carrier delays, customs processing, weather, holidays, or other circumstances outside our control.

Once a package has been handed to the carrier, Tsenà is not responsible for delays caused by the shipping provider. However, we will do our best to help you locate your package if an issue arises.

8. Lost, Stolen, or Returned Packages

Please make sure your shipping address is complete and accurate before placing your order.

Tsenà is not responsible for packages lost due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer.

If a package is returned to us because of an address issue, failed delivery, or non-pickup, the customer may be responsible for the cost of reshipping.

9. Returns and Exchanges

Because many of our pieces are limited, handmade, or one-of-a-kind, we currently offer returns or exchanges only in the following cases:

  1. The item arrives damaged.

  2. The wrong item was sent.

  3. The item has a significant defect that was not disclosed before purchase.

Change-of-mind returns are not accepted unless otherwise stated.

Please include your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos if the item is damaged or incorrect.

Items must be unused, unworn, and returned in their original condition.

10. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are final sale:

  • Sale or discounted items

  • Pop-up exclusive items

  • Custom or personalized items

  • Items marked “final sale”

  • Items that have been used, worn, washed, damaged, or altered after delivery

11. Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your item arrives damaged or you receive the wrong item, please contact us within 5 days of delivery.

We may offer a replacement, repair, exchange, store credit, or refund depending on the situation and product availability.

12. Handmade and Upcycled Pieces

Some Tsenà products may be handmade, upcycled, or made from deadstock or repurposed materials.

Natural marks, slight irregularities, texture changes, colour variations, visible stitching, weave differences, or signs of material origin may be present. These are not considered defects unless they affect the normal use of the item.

13. Care Instructions

Care instructions may vary depending on the material. Customers are responsible for following the care instructions provided with the product or on the product page.

Tsenà is not responsible for damage caused by improper use, washing, storage, exposure to moisture, excessive sun exposure, or normal wear and tear.

14. Intellectual Property

All content on the Tsenà website, including photos, text, graphics, branding, logos, product names, and designs, belongs to Tsenà by Tamalà or is used with permission.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or use our content without written permission.

15. Website Use

You agree not to use our website for unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes.

We reserve the right to restrict or cancel access to our website or services if misuse is suspected.

16. Privacy

Your personal information is collected and used only for purposes related to your order, customer service, shipping, marketing consent, or website experience.

We do not sell your personal information.

17. Marketing Emails

You may receive marketing emails from Tsenà only if you subscribe, make a purchase where permitted, or otherwise provide consent.

18. Limitation of Liability

Tsenà is not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to the use of our products or website.

Our responsibility is limited to the amount paid for the product in question, except where the law provides otherwise.
